My Journey in stem
Starting with my early influences and experiences that sparked my interest in STEM, I will discuss how being a Division I student-athlete has helped me navigate various challenges and opportunities in my academic and professional journey. I will also highlight key initiatives and research projects that have shaped my scientific path and career trajectory. Additionally, I will share my work in science policy and STEM advocacy, which is focused on increasing representation in STEM and promoting equitable health sciences that benefit all communities. Through my story, I aim to inspire others to pursue STEM and provide them with the tools to make a difference in the future. By using myself as an example, I hope to demonstrate that passion, hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to making a difference can enable anyone to achieve their goals.
