Improving Health Equity Bit by Bit

My research focuses on improving health equity in the University of California Health system by utilizing big data to solve real world problems using social determinants of health (SDOH). SDOH is the new way to identify health disparities in different population groups and predict disease risk based on socioeconomic status and other determinants of health.
